My AC stopped working on my 2013 Kia Sportage in June 2026. They diagnosed the issue, then sent photos of the issue. Communicated over the phone so that I understood the problem, which was a bad compressor which requires replacing the condenser and TXV to prevent damaging the new compressor. They then replaced the compressor, condenser and TXV with OEM parts as well as the rubber o-rings and refilled the system with the proper weight of refrigerant and oil. Took about a day for the parts to arrive and I was able to pick up the vehicle next day! This will be my go-to shop for any car issues in the future that are out of my range. Thanks Triad Select Auto! Edit: thank you for the clarification and honesty. I do not mind aftermarket when the parts meet or exceed spec.

Bought a new car recently and knew I needed to have some things done to it. My wife also goes to this shop, so I figured why not. They took care of the things I needed and informed me of what else needs to be done. Will be going back to finish the work on my car. Edit: Had to take my Acura to get the breaks done, and the tech Clay was honest, and upfront as always. I still have some work to be done, so I will be back, but he did a great job getting me back on the road. I appreciate the honesty with this shop.

I couldn’t ask for a better experience. I called him on the phone. Told him what I was experiencing with my car prior to that I had already took my vehicle to someone else they quoted me 1700 for a fuel pump in labor. Triad didn’t charge me nowhere near 1700. He was honest with me. Every step of the way showed me things and taught me things about my vehicle that I didn’t know. I’m definitely going to use them from here on out and I definitely will refer to them to anyone that’s looking for a mechanic. I promise you, you won’t be disappointed

Clayton at Triad Select Auto is all three! We know we can trust him to do a good job, give us a fair price, and be honest. You can tell he genuinely wants to help diagnose any issues with your vehicle and get to the bottom of what’s going on. We’ve had nothing but good experiences with him and his team. Exceptional experience. In and out in under 2 hours. Clay listened carefully to my issue, carefully inspected the exhaust system (which I indicated probably housed the problem), and showed me a series a pictures that clearly identified the problem points. He offered me solutions, with price breakdowns, and gave me frank and actionable advice. In the end, I went with the cheapest solution, and Clay’s fix completely solved the problem. Car feels brand new again. Can’t recommend this place enough. A smooth, pleasant experience with zero haggling, zero arguing, and the general impression that the mechanic was on MY side.
